1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bags of Laundry website and pickup-and-delivery laundry service (the "Service"). By booking an order or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Bags of Laundry provides scheduled laundry pickup, wash-and-fold processing through partner laundromats, and delivery within our Detroit-area service zones. Service availability depends on your postal code and daily capacity.

3. Pricing & Payment

Laundry is billed at a flat price of $39 per bag. Additional bags, including bags handed to your driver at pickup, are $39 each. There is no minimum order and no weight-based charge.
Specialty items and optional same-day rush service are billed at the posted prices.
When you book, we place an authorization hold on your card. The final charge is made once we have received your laundry. If the final total exceeds the hold, the difference is charged to your saved payment method.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card details.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancel 6 or more hours before your pickup window: no charge; the authorization hold is released.
Cancel within 6 hours of your pickup window: a $10 cancellation fee applies.
Orders cannot be cancelled once your laundry has been picked up; contact support for help.

5. Garment Care & Liability

Please check pockets and note special-care items when booking. We are not responsible for items left in pockets or damage from items that require special handling but were not flagged.
Our liability for lost or damaged items is limited to the total amount you paid for the affected order.
Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Pickup & Delivery

You are responsible for having your laundry ready during the selected pickup window. If we cannot complete a pickup (no bag out, no access), the order may be marked as a no-show and rescheduled. Delivery photos may be taken as proof of delivery.

7. Acceptable Use

Do not send items that are hazardous, contaminated, or illegal to possess. We may refuse service for items that risk the safety of our drivers or laundromat partners.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
