Text messages from Bags of Laundry
Bags of Laundry texts customers from (855) 927-4224 (855-WASH-BAGS) about their laundry pickups. Here is what we send, how you opt in, and how to stop.
What we send
- Messages: order confirmations, pickup and delivery updates, replies to your texts, and booking links you ask for on a call. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
- How often: Message frequency varies, usually 2 to 6 messages per order.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
- Help: Reply HELP, call (855) 927-4224, or email hello@bagsoflaundry.com.
- Stop: Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You'll get one confirmation and no more texts.
- Optional: Consent is not a condition of purchase.
How you opt in
1In your account
Order updates by text are off until you turn them on. On your profile, under Text Notifications:
The box starts unchecked. We text order updates only after you check it and save.
2At checkout
When you place an order, the payment step has a separate, optional box marked "Optional":
The box starts unchecked. Leaving it unchecked does not affect your order. Texts go only to the number you gave for the order; a new number needs a new opt-in.
3By texting us first
By texting (855) 927-4224, you agree to receive replies from Bags of Laundry about your questions and orders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.
4On a phone call
When you book by phone, our assistant asks: "Can I text you a link to finish booking and pay?" We send one text with the link only if you say yes. If you'd rather not get a text, we email it instead.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
